Construction Site Laboratory - CON.SI.LAB (ABC dept. - Politecnico di Milano) aims to develop and spread construction site design culture among construction stakeholders, starting from a strong -on field applied- research activity. Dissemination among scientific and professional communities is guaranteed by publications and technical-scientific support. Training courses are also organized, based on general law requirements or specifically developed for different kind of stakeholders (Professionals, Companies, Manufacturers, Bodies).

MANAGEMENT PROCESSES ORGANIZATION
The Laboratory investigates on construction job organization with particular attention to the development of Health and Safety Management systems tailored to different construction companies dimensions.
For some years Construction Site Modelling Laboratory studies a BIM-based approach for construction site design and management. Studies consist in a strong research activity and real applications on the specific CoSIM field: Construction Site Information Modelling.
This theme, studied from 1992, has produced a real “Safety School” for construction professionals and companies (both contractors and sub-contractors). The research has driven to the development of lots of Publications, Conferences, Seminars and Courses in collaboration with Professional Orders of Milan.
The laboratory investigates Energetic consumption and CO2 emissions analysis on construction sites and related reduction methodologies.
